Visit Uckfield
Uckfield is an attractive market town situated at the very heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Uckfield still retains some of its medieval past centering mainly around Holy Cross church, but many other historical sites can be found within the town and its surrounding Parish. The river Uck meanders through the lower part of the town.
Whilst visiting Uckfield why not call in at Uckfield Picture House to watch the latest films. Or for leisure activities visit Freedom Leisure Uckfield, with a swimming pool, gym, squash courts, sauna and steam room, sports hall, café and crèche facilities.
The town's Farmers' Market is held every first Saturday of the month, and in 2007 it was voted 'Best Sussex Farmers' Market' at the Sussex Food and Drink Awards.
