Outdoor Activities

There are so many outdoor activities in Sussex you'll be spoilt for choice.

For walkers, cyclists and horse riders, the footpaths, trails and bridleways around the countryside are a delight. From the South Downs and Seven Sisters in the south to Ashdown Forest and the High Weald in the north, there are trails for all abilities waiting to be discovered.

If you prefer a round of golf, sailing on the open sea or a reservoir, or the peace and tranquillity of fishing, then you will find it in Sussex. Leisure centres also offer a wide variety of sporting opportunities.

For the more adventurous, go karting, ski-ing, rock climbing, abseiling or even Llama trekking in the Ashdown Forest. Or why not discover Sussex from the sky in a hot-air balloon or paraglider?

But if this all sounds a little too much like hard work, why not just go for a stroll, enjoy a picnic with a fabulous view, or relax on the picturesque Sussex beach.
